The Place
Half the way between the unbelievable Glaciar Perito Moreno and El Calafate, and just 4 km from Puerto Bandera – the starting point of the sailings to the glaciers- nature gave birth a magical place called La Usina. Situated in a small valley in the middle of the native Patagonic woods, La Usina as time went by, became the ideal choice for those who visit the region expecting to discover natural places and at the same time offering services that follow the highest quality standards and respecting nature.

La Usina
La Usina is placed nearby the Glaciar Perito Moreno, just 20 minutes and scarcely 40 Km from El Calafate. The Centre is designed following the typical Patagonic architecture. In its interior, it has an organic vegetable garden and a bird reserve, besides, we have the necessary equipment and services to make more pleasant the traveller’s staying during their visit to the place, as for example transfer in/out round the clock.
Furthermore, activities in and out the centre can be done, such as horse riding - own stable – 4x4 vehicles, dirt bikes, archery and fishing among others activities. Wedding celebrations, business and or incentive events turn La Usina into a superior alternative to the classical field day or ranch. |

With a capacity for 60 persons enjoying a musical show, or 74 persons without the last option.La Usina becomes an excellent proposal for those who enjoy good life and the adventure and gourmet flavours.
In case of groups, the menu option will be chosen beforehand.
The house receives its visitors in a natural surrounding, with a welcome drink, prosciutto and homemade bread. Meanwhile you enjoy the reception, you will be asked to choose the Option Menu. Once you are placed in the room, our expert Sommelier will suggest some varieties of careful selected wines to crown your dish and a warm show, performed by one of our staff will be offered
